This Blood Angels Furioso Dreadnought Cybot was one of the last miniatures, before I discovered Vince Venturella's Hobby Cheating Youtube Videos.

The model and base had actually a happy accident. I wanted to paint a lava base, but the first version was so bad, that I decided to get the paint of. The stuff I put the plastic model in did not just remove the paint but also melt the feet of the already attached cybot.

I painted the bright lava on the base, put Agrellan Earth on it and let it dry, then painted it black.
Luckily the melted look was perfect for this scenario as it now looks as if the feet are melting because of the lava (of course completely intentional *cough* *cough*).
