This is a Grey Knights Land Raider, being painted around May/June 2014, nothing spectacular, but I experimented with decal foil.
It was 100 micron foil if I remember correctly. I set it up in photoshop and printed it in an ink printer.

Then I put some Citadel Ardcoat on the Land Raid, applied the foil and again some Ardcoat on top (Ardcoat because of the metallic paint, any gloss/metallic medium would be ok).
